MediaTek selects VNC Automotive to support connected car strategy

MediaTekFebruary 21, 2017, Cambridge, UK: VNC Automotive, the premier supplier of in-car connectivity solutions, today announced that MediaTek Incorporated, the leading fabless semiconductor company that enables 1.5 billion connected devices a year, has signed its partnership agreement; gaining access to the automotive industry’s most versatile software development toolkit (SDK) for in-car infotainment. Under the terms of the agreement, MediaTek will use the VNC Automotive SDK to deploy in-car phone connectivity as part of its semiconductor offering, and to support MirrorLink, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Baidu CarLife.
