We are a successful Cambridge (UK) based technology spin-out; and we are leading the way in finding creative, innovative and above all, effective ways to make time spent in-vehicle more entertaining and productive. Our connectivity and telematics software is deployed in over 35 million vehicles and counting, across 15 of the world’s largest automotive OEMs, including VW Group, Toyota, Honda, PSA and many more. We supply our software across the automotive ecosystem to equipment suppliers such as Bosch, Panasonic, Clarion, Pioneer and device vendors such as Sony and HTC.
The role
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their marketing career. You will be joining a highly successful team and take an active role in growing our company. The role is within our Marketing division and covers a wide range of B2B marketing activities. Including:
Your core focus will be… Marketing communications:
- Support the development of a wide range of impactful marketing communications and campaigns, across various channels, industry sectors, target audiences and global regions.
- Take a lead role in project managing our live events program and trade show participation across the UK, EU and US. Work together with show organisers, contractors and attending team.
- Develop and implement our external comms calendar across our key organic and paid channels, from content ideation to designing assets, copywriting and post scheduling. Monitor and report on performance and recommend improvements.
- Support and undertake content creation that adds value at every touch point, to support acquisition, retention and advocacy. Work closely with sales colleagues to further refine messaging and value propositions. Occasionally write longer form content such as blog posts and news items.
- Develop, deploy and maintain automated email workflows, landing pages and other CRM related assets, working together with our retained CRM agency and ensuring data cleanliness.
You’ll sometimes get involved in… Strategy, planning & brand:
- Participate in discussions around marketing strategy and planning as required. Assist in the development of the annual marketing roadmap.
- Participate in new product development, messaging and integrated launch campaigns.
- Act as custodian of our brand guidelines, updating assets as required and championing brand compliance across the company, our resellers and external agencies.
- Undertake market research, voice of the customer and customer persona activities as appropriate.
- Support employer branding initiatives together with our HR Manager, including recruitment and employee events and parties.
- Support with the briefing, tendering and bidder selection for major projects or retainers.
Successful candidates need to be adaptable, hands on and a self-starter. We are looking for candidates who will be able to work well within a team, as well as on their own initiative. This role is a great opportunity to develop your career with support and mentorship from our ambitious Marketing Manager.
You
Your skills and experience should include:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar B2B position within a technology company.
- Experience using HubSpot or equivalent CRM.
- Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and other paid media platforms.
- Proficiency using the Adobe suite is desirable.
- Someone who is collaborative but can also work independently under their own steam.
- Someone with an interest in technology and who can help distil this into something that is compelling for our target audiences.
- Someone who is confident working with internal and external team members and agencies.
- Someone who is enthusiastic, positive, proactive and suggests solutions.
Anything else?
As well as the above, if you have any of the desired experience below then we’d like to know about it!
- Experience of working in a marketing team at a technology start up or spin out.
- Strong Microsoft knowledge and experience, including PowerPoint, Word and Publisher.
- Have undertaken a marketing qualification such as BSc, Masters or equivalent.
- Foreign language skills would be beneficial, but are not essential.

We are a 20-minute walk from Cambridge North train station. Turn right down Milton Avenue and follow the path onto Cowley Road, follow Cowley Road round to the right and after approx. 500 metres, you will find St John’s Innovation park on your left.
