Sales Administrator

We’re looking for a Sales Administrator to join our dynamic sales team

Our connectivity and telematics software and hardware products are deployed in over 35 million vehicles and counting, across 15 of the world’s largest automotive OEMs, including VW Group, Toyota, Honda, Stellantis and many more. We supply our software across the automotive ecosystem to equipment suppliers such as Bosch, Panasonic, Clarion, Pioneer, and device vendors such as Sony and HTC. Multiple emergency services and logistics customers are adopting our latest award-winning Cobalt Cube® hardware product across the globe.

 

 

The role

 

The successful candidate will likely have sales/ admin support experience within a fast-paced business and an understanding of selling technology products, both hardware and software. You will be assisting in sales and administration support, interacting with customers and helping to grow the business.

 

Key duties

 

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and deal with incoming sales enquiries
  • Process new orders, lead qualification and sales in a B2B environment
  • Supporting sales executives and senior management to maximise sales
  • Maintain detailed information of all customers, opportunities and incoming enquiries; map key decision makers, gatekeepers and monitoring each opportunity through the sales cycle
  • Manage process to ensure timely and high adoption rates for Support and Maintenance renewals from existing contracts
  • Create sales pipeline and forecast reports
  • Support and attend occasional international trade shows and events

 

Experience required

 

  • Recent previous sales/ admin experience
  • An understanding of the sales process
  • IT literate with good Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity and use of CRM and databases
  • Ability to manage and analyse data to create reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
  • Proactive team player able to work with international customers and teams
  • Language skills would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ideally educated to degree level but not essential

We’re based at St John’s Innovation Centre within the Cambridge Science Park, easily accessed from the A14. There is plenty of unallocated parking on-site; please let us know if you are planning to drive and we will advise you of the best location to park your vehicle.

By rail

We are a 20-minute walk from Cambridge North train station. Turn right down Milton Avenue and follow the path onto Cowley Road, follow Cowley Road round to the right and after approx. 500 metres, you will find St John’s Innovation park on your left.
