This role is within our Finance division and covers a wide range of finance activities; including accounts payable and receivable, banking, credit card expenses, VAT, as well as month and year end reporting. You will work alongside the Finance Manager to raise, code and post invoices onto Sage; ensuring the AR and AP ledger is up to date and accurate, as well as dealing with customer and supplier queries.
Successful candidates are likely to have good Excel knowledge and be able to work well within a team, as well as on their own initiative. This role is a great opportunity to develop your career with support and training from our ambitious Finance Manager.
The role involves some ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the wider company when necessary. This may include; occasional reception cover, answering the phone, greeting visitors/customers, setting up meeting rooms; various filing, scanning, copying jobs; dealing with the post, arranging deliveries and other ad hoc tasks when there are staff absences.

As well as the above, if you have any of the following then we’d like to know about it!
- knowledge of working in a Finance team
- strong Excel knowledge and experience
- experience using Sage
- are working towards an accountancy qualification (we are committed to full, on the job training and will also support recognised accounting qualifications)
- foreign language skills would be beneficial, but are not essential
